Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 9, 2026
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including booking details, availability rules, event inquiries, notes, and account information such as your email address when you sign in.
If you connect Google Calendar, we request calendar access. Depending on the calendar and date range you select, this may let us read your calendar list, calendar names and identifiers, event titles, start and end times, locations, all-day status, and other event metadata returned by Google Calendar.
We may temporarily store your Google Calendar OAuth access token in your browser session so the app can load calendars and events while you are using the service. We store calendar sync settings such as the selected calendar identifier, calendar name, access role, provider, scope, owner user ID, and owner email address.
2. How we use information
We use your information to show calendar availability, help evaluate booking requests, generate availability suggestions, save your selected sync settings, troubleshoot the service, protect against abuse, and communicate with you about the app.
Calendar data is used only to provide user-facing scheduling and availability features. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
3. AI-assisted analysis
When you request availability analysis, booking details, rules, date ranges, and inquiry text may be sent to OpenAI to generate the requested analysis. Do not enter information you do not want processed for that purpose.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers that help us operate the app, including Google/Firebase for authentication, database, and calendar APIs, and OpenAI for user-requested availability analysis. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Public availability links
If you create or share a public availability link, people with that link may see availability information generated from your calendar.Public views should show availability status only and do not expose private calendar attributes such as your email address, calendar ID, calendar name, or event details.
6. Data retention
We retain account information, booking information, and calendar sync settings for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the app. Calendar event data fetched from Google Calendar is used to display or analyze availability and is not intended to be stored as a permanent copy unless the app clearly tells you otherwise.
7. Your choices
You can disconnect Google Calendar by signing out of the app and by revoking Gig Calendar access in your Google Account permissions . You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Deleting calendar sync settings may disable saved or public availability links.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including authentication and database access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, especially when third-party accounts and shared links are involved.
